A dot-matrix printer typically cannot print higher than around 60 DPI, inkjet printers typically have around 300-600 DPI, and laser printers, by the nature of the electrostatic charges that apply the toner to the paper, can achieve upwards of 1800 DPI.</p></p></table></td></tr><tr><td width="550px" align="left" style="font-family:Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;color:#444;border-bottom:1px solid #333;line-height:18px;font-size:15px;font-weight:bold;">Geek Comic</td></tr><tr><td><table border="0" width="500px"><tr><td width="500px" align="left" style="font-family:Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;color:#333333;line-height:18px;font-size:12px;"><p><p><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" border="0" src="http://www.howtogeek.com/geekers/up/sshot519b06152bec1.jpg" width="500" height="600" /></p></p></td></tr></table></td></tr><tr><td width="550px" align="left"></td></tr><tr><td width="550px" align="left" style="font-family:Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;color:#444;border-bottom:1px solid #333;line-height:18px;font-size:15px;font-weight:bold;">Featured Articles</td></tr><tr><td width="550px" class="thumbcol" align="left" style="font-family:Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;color:#333333;line-height:18px;font-size:12px;padding-top:20px;"><h2><a style="letter-spacing:-1px;font-weight:bold;font-family:Arial;text-decoration:none;font-size:20px;" href="http://www.howtogeek.com/163958/why-do-carriers-delay-updates-for-android-but-not-iphone/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=250513" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to Why Do Carriers Delay Updates for Android But Not iPhone?"><strong>Why Do Carriers Delay Updates for Android But Not iPhone?</strong></a></h2><a style="letter-spacing:-1px;font-weight:bold;font-family:Arial;text-decoration:none;font-size:20px;" href="http://www.howtogeek.com/163958/why-do-carriers-delay-updates-for-android-but-not-iphone/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=250513" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to Why Do Carriers Delay Updates for Android But Not iPhone?"><img src="http://cdn.howtogeek.com/thumbcache/550/180/9f3f0bb6ebc89698a7eed0596b912b3d/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/iphone-update.jpg" /></a>
